About UsOpen Door Mission is a 501C-3 non-profit organization that has board members from Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. The home office is at 2000 Cooktown Road in Ruston, LA, but the mailing address is P. O. Box 2495 in Ruston, LA 71273.We are a distinctively Southern Baptist outreach ministry and missions organization. We partner with such organizations as the International Mission Board by receiving project numbers from them for our overseas mission trips and working with their missionaries when needed to assist in projects God has led them to do.We are also affiliated with the Louisiana Baptist Convention, the Concord-Union Baptist Association in LA, and the San Juan Baptist Association in New Mexico where we work on the Navajo Indian Reservation. We are also endorsed by the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and they encourage their churches to partner with us in mission projects.We believe God has called us to form an organization that can assist churches in missions participation. It is our desire to link churches with missions needs and opportunities to minister in the United States and in other countries. Our primary foreign mission work is with the Ukraine.Open Door Missions affirms the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
